What's your favorite punctuation mark?

Could it be ! or ; or :) or ?
...wait... one of those doesn't seem right...

I thought it would be interesting to find out if other people had a favorite punctuation mark... like me...

As illustrated above - in excess - is my 'punctuation mark of choice,' the ellipsis; also known as dot-dot-dot. I use it more for effect than its intended grammatical use, an omission of text. I like to include the ellipsis in my poems and short stories because it adds to the flow. It allows me to transition from one stanza or paragraph to the next, or to change the scene completely.

Punctuation marks are really essential to the world of writing. There are quite a number of punctuation marks, all of which can be used depending on the circumstances. The question of which is my favorite is really hard to answer. However, I will answer it because I really enjoy your writing. Personally, I love the exclamation point the best among all the punctuation marks. I love how much emotion and intensity it brings to whatever scene or event I am writing.

This is actually the first time that I have been asked about my favorite punctuation mark. I won't realize that I have one if I was not able to see your question above. I have to say that my favorite punctuation mark is comma. Why? Because of the fact that it doesn't symbolizes endings unlined the period mark or sign. Commas, if we will relate it to life, means hope for me. I am not sure though if I am the only one who thinks about it this way but it feels so nice to share my thoughts about it here.
